About BAMAH

BAMAH is a cultural dialogue and exchange organization that works with artists from Israel to create transformative experiences that spark connection across cultures.

We believe in the capacity of the arts to transcend division and remind us of our shared humanity.

As stereotypes and assumptions about Israel and Jewish identity abound, we create spaces for cultural exchange that pollinates rather than polarizes.

Our work centers on strategic, trust-based partnerships. We bring artists from Israel into meaningful connection with students, faculty, and communities across the U.S., with a special focus on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

Guided by a deep commitment to pluralism, we work with artists spanning diverse backgrounds, identities, and perspectives.

An independent nonprofit, BAMAH is funded by private individuals and foundations and does not accept government support.

When politics divide,
culture connects.

Together with our partners, we co-create cultural experiences that spark deep conversations, understanding, and empathy.
