Based near Kansas City, Missouri, Whitney Weathers is the Managing Director of DEIJ at UpStart, where she collaborates with stakeholders to create opportunities and address barriers for historically underrepresented groups.

She is pursuing a doctorate at Nazarene Theological Seminary and holds degrees from Vanderbilt University (Urban Education) and Tennessee State University (English).

An award-winning educator, Whitney’s work has been featured on NPR and Colorado Public Radio.

With her deep experience in equity and education, Whitney helps guide BAMAH's efforts to create meaningful cross-cultural connections.
